Benton Snail Bee Ultimate Toner is an intensely nourishing, moisturising toner with brightening and wrinkle-reducing ingredients such as snail secretion filtrate, bee venom and peptides that protect the skin barrier and add radiance to the skin.

The base of the toner is a snail secretion filtrate that has been fermented with grape yeast and then filtered. It repairs the skin, softens acne scars and lightens hyperpigmentation, while bee venom has a soothing and anti-inflammatory effect. Witch hazel water firms the skin and refines its texture. Niacinamide and adenosine provide additional brightening and wrinkle-reducing properties respectively. 6 types of peptides provide a healthier appearance by stimulating collagen production and counteract skin ageing and wrinkling, while hyaluronic acid provides intensive moisture. The mild formula is free from fragrances, volatile alcohols and PEGs and has a slightly acidic pH (6-7).

Active ingredients

Snail secretion filtrate has antibacterial properties, antioxidants slow down the ageing process of the skin and the secretion additionally moisturises the skin, it has a repairing effect on skin damage and fights blemished skin, pigment spots and scars fade and redness is soothed. Snail secretion promotes the formation of the skin’s own collagen and elastin, so that the skin becomes more elastic and plump.

Hyaluronic acid binds moisture and transports it deep into the skin layers.

Hamamelis Virginiana (witch hazel) helps control sebum production, tightens the skin and refines the complexion.

Dipotassium glycyrrhizinate, an active ingredient isolated from liquorice extract, soothes irritated and reddened skin and moisturises it.

Bee venom has anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties, plumps up the skin and draws soft facial lines.

Adenosine increases skin elasticity and counteracts wrinkles.

Niacinamide has an anti-inflammatory and calming effect, regulates sebum production, positively influences the skin structure and makes the skin tone appear more even, pigmentation is reduced.

Glycerine moisturises the skin and supports the skin barrier to counteract moisture loss and skin irritations, keeps the skin supple and prevents dehydration.

All of our BENTON products are not tested on animals and even the extraction of the snail slime is animal-friendly. The type of snail used to make the snail mucus in the Snail Bee line is called Achatina fulica (large agate snail) and is used for various purposes in Korea. The snails are raised in a production facility and naturally excrete slime. After collecting the secretion, the snails return to their natural habitat to relieve any stress that may have arisen. This means that they will not be killed or injured.
